Limerick

Rivedendo un numero della serie del Tenente Colombo ho ritrovato il piacere dei Limerick e ne ho composto uno in onore del Presidente Conte.

President Conte is always at his best
Well combed, well licked, and beautifully dressed.

He speaks a lot but intends no thing
as a young peacock that cannot sing.

He’s nice to see and forget the rest.

E un Limerick anche per Renzi.

Renzi is like a big, growling dog
that barks loudly to appear very rogue

They say that barking dogs dont bite.
But they still have teeth to do it all right.

Keep at a distance the bloody beast.
